Power2Max is a Germany-based manufacturer of power meters. A relatively recent entrant into the industry, P2M was founded by a group of automotive engineers, also avid amateur cyclists; their goal, an accurate, simple power meter, took two years of prototyping to develop, finally making its public entrance at Eurobike in 2010. Success was immediate; P2M expanded rapidly, opening its North American branch the following year, expanding into global markets, and producing new meters.

Today the catalogue includes road, offroad, and track meters, compatible with SRAM, Campagnolo, FSA, Rotor, and more. The performance is closely parallel to the crank it replaces, from Q-factor to stiffness.
