Transitioning from my S2 to the R5 was quick and I could immediately notice the lower weight and improved ride quality. There was noticeably less flex in the frame when out of the saddle. A top end machine which as expected commands a high price tag.
Comfortable, stable on the descents, better handling than my S2

Great bike overall though.

Very happy with the Cervelo test ride!
Excellent power transfer at low speeds - very lively.
No faster than an S2 at speed.

Awesome ride, great geometry and super light ... Even in a 61cm frame!
Super light bike, really comfortable geometry. Climbs very nicely.
The SRAM Red doesn't change as nicely as the shimano... Perhaps personal preference.
