The 2016 Colnago V1-R Disc is a top-of-the-line racing frameset. Colnago's finest monocoque carbon frame, here configured for disc brakes. The frameset is exceptionally light and efficient, with lateral stiffness, vertical compliance, and, as always, impeccable attention to detail. The seatpost is a dedicated element; housing for the disc comes directly from the frame mold; cabling for electronic or mechanical shifting and mechanical or hydraulic braking is allowed for with the internal routing. The new V1-R fork meets the frame seamlessly, just one of many aerodynamic advantages.
