Merida Scultura Disc 400 (2017)

The 2017 Merida Scultura Disc 400 is a mid-range road bike. The 400 is a great introduction to disc-braked road bikes; modestly priced, it's kitted out with nearly identical componentry to its carbon-framed 4000 cousin, providing substantially the same level of performance and significant savings in exchange for a small cost in grams. Shimano 105 shifting and RS505 brakes respond with alacrity in all weathers and seasons; the Maxxis Dolomites offer high traction and low rolling resistance, a nice complement to the lightweight Comp 22 wheelset.
