Merida Scultura Disc 500 (2017)

The 2017 Merida Scultura Disc 500 is a mid-range road race bike. Built on a light, stiff aluminum frame, paired with a resilient carbon fork to soak up road vibration, the 500 is laid out with the same high-performance geometry as its high-end brethren, responding snappily to impetus from the rider and climbing the steepest pitches with ease. Kit is commensurate, from the fast-rolling Continental slicks to the ultra-reliable Shimano Ultegra drivetrain. Shimano also provides the all-condition RS685 hydraulic disc brakes, ace for managing precipitious descents.
