Scicon AeroComfort 2.0 TSA Review
The AeroComfort 2.0 TSA is a fully featured soft bike bag from Scicon. In fact this is a soft bag with all the with all the benefits you would usually expect from its hard case siblings.
From the very first reveal the supreme quality of materials and design is readily apparent. The bag features a metal framework at its base to which the front and rear dropouts of your bike are attached with provided quick release skewers. A neoprene pouch takes care of the derailleur, internal padded pockets both sides for the wheels and enough straps to secure the bike frame firm and tight.
The wonder of this bag is the speed with which you can pack your bike into it. There is no need for tools as everything (apart from wheels) remains in place including handlebars and pedals. The quality of the nylon outer material, the reinforcing and the padding is such that once zipped closed your bike remains rock solid and protected from even the worst treatment a baggage handler could inflict!
The addition of a TSA lock and integrated name tag is a nice touch as are the replaceable castor wheels. The advantage of this bag over a hard case is firstly its lighter weight, but also the ease of storage when not in use. Fold it up and store under your bed. Easy.
Overall the AeroComfort 2.0 is one of the best soft bag bike carriers available. It is simple to use, light weight and keeps your bike as protected as in a hard case. Highly recommended.
