The best mix of materials available outside of North America. Light, strong, stiff, and perfectly suited to the sophisticated frame technologies that distinguish Trek frames.
BB90 Wider is better
BB90 is the widest bottom bracket available on a road bike. This Trek-exclusive carbon BB makes the frame lighter, stiffer, and quicker to accelerate.
Ultimate comfort
We designed Trek’s Ride Tuned seatmast to save energy and counter the pounding doled out by three-week Grand Tours. It’s the lightest and most comfortable solution for riders interested in day-in, day-out performance and comfort.
Tapered Head Tube
The Bontrager E2 fork tapers from a 1.5" lower bearing to a 1-1/8" upper bearing. The larger-diameter lower bearing keeps the E2 fork stiffer under cornering loads and distributes forces more evenly, increasing the life of the bearings. Result: a more confident and durable ride.
DuoTrap Computer Sensors - The end of zip ties
DuoTrap seamlessly integrates the computer sensor into the frame to measure speed, distance, and cadence with no added aerodynamic drag. It works with all the major ANT+ wireless technology players, including Bontrager, Garmin, Powertap, and SRM.
Di2 Seamless integration
Di2-specific cable stops and a slick bottom bracket battery mount allow for a perfect interface with the industry-leading Shimano Di2 electronic drivetrain system without a single zip tie or strip of tape. It’s the most seamless component integration in the industry.
Optimal cable routing
Trek’s integrated cable management is highly engineered for sleek styling and the real-world performance that comes from better compatibility with current drivetrains. Optimal cable routing offers flawless shifting, better braking, and easier assembly and maintenance.
Direct-mount front derailleur
Provides accurate shifting in a lightweight, minimal package
H2 fit
H2 retains all the handling geometry and ride characteristics of our pro-fit H1 platform, with a slightly higher head tube height to put less strain on a rider’s back and neck. It will also accommodate riders with slightly less pelvic rotation and core stability. The H2 higher head tube is the right way to get most riders in the right place. No goofy high-rise stems, no huge stack of spacers—the look is nothing but pro.
Crank: compact
Two front chainrings with shorter gearing, for the best combination of climbing ability and flat-terrain speed. |
