Description

Trek's 7.7 FX offers the speedy performance of a road bike with the back-friendly upright stance of a city bike. This bike is perfect for fitness needs or a trip to the office, spirited rides in the country, or taming the urban corridors. The bike features a lightweight carbon frame and fork for great handling. Reliable Shimano components make up the drivetrain, and parts from FSA, Formula, and Bontrager round out the spec.

The BMC Alpenchallenge AC01 XX1 is the most dedicated commuter bike in the world. With class leading SRAM XX1 components and disc brakes this bike will get you where you need to go as fast as possible while being able to stop on a dime.

Just because you don't want a a drop bar road bike, doesn't mean you want a heavy, cumbersome flat bar hybrid. The Giant Escape RX Composite is very sleek and lightweight hybrid that will ensure no matter how long you like to spend in the saddle, you will get the smoothest ride you could ever wish for. The Shimano groupset provides brilliant shifting and parts from Tektro, KMC and Giant finish off a a high-end yet surprisingly inexpensive package.

Features

IsoZone handlebar and grips: We drew upon Bontrager’s inForm Science of Comfort research to design the ergonomically shaped IsoZone Grip, then paired it with a handlebar containing an advanced elastomer insert to soak up road buzz. The result of this breakthrough bar/grip combination is nearly a 30% reduction in peak hand pressure, which means more comfort and control.

E2 Head Tube and Fork: Our E2 head tube tapers from a 1 1/4" lower bearing to a 1-1/8" upper bearing, and is wider side to side than front to back. This asymmetric steering system minimizes weight while maximizing power transfer and keeping the fork stiffer under cornering loads. Result: a more powerful and confident ride.

SpeedTrap Compatible: SpeedTrap seamlessly integrates the computer sensor into the fork to measure speed and distance with no added aerodynamic drag.

Tapered head tube - with a minimum increase in weight, a disproportionately higher fork thickness results.

Ride Sense:
Giant’s all-new chainstay-integrated, wireless data transmitter. The removable transmitter sends wheel-speed and cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer.

Giant Composite:
T-600 raw carbon fiber is used to create the composite material used for these lightweight, stiff and compliant framesets. Blending performance and value, this technology features modified monocoque construction.

Compact Road Design:
In 1997, when riders on the legendary Spanish pro team ONCE rolled up to the start of a race on a compact geometry Giant bike, the competition didn’t quite know what to think. For decades before that moment, the design and geometry of road bikes had remained essentially the same. Giant’s new approach was a radical departure, and we called it Compact Road design.
