Description

The 2017 Kona Honzo CR Race is a high-end trail bike. Built for speed, from the snug rear triangle delivering power directly to the fast-rolling Maxxis Ikon treads, the CR is also no slouch in the tricky stuff: Shimano SLX delivers precise braking control and quick, clean shifts, the Kona cockpit provides stable, sensitive steering, and the Fox suspension fork responds with sensitivity and precision to ripples and dropoffs alike. The Honzo is a great-looking bike, too, its carbon frame laid out in spare, clean lines.
A good trail bike.

The 2017 Kona Honzo CR Trail is a high-end hardtail trail bike. Starting with a light, responsive carbon frame, paired with the smooth Fox Float 34, providing 120mm of progressive travel, the CR is nimble and confident in the trickiest situations. The Shimano build kit includes an SLX/XT 1x11 drivetrain and SLX brakeset, centerlock Deore rotors, and BOOST hubs; the latter are laced to bombproof WTB asymmetrical rims, in turn clad in fat Maxxis treads; the CR has exceptional confidence in the gnarliest terrain.
A very good trail bike.

The 2017 Kona Honzo CR Trail DL is a top-end trail bike. The CR is a dextrous navigator, stable and well-balanced in the technical stuff, with the shortest possible stays lending responsiveness and offering a quick jump off the line. This DeLuxe model of the CR includes a terrific build kit, with SRAM providing the majority: BOOST hubs, the ace Guide RSC disc brakes delivering stopping power and control, and a 1x11 X01 drivetrain. A KS Lev dropper post, WTB's nigh-indestructible rims, and a pair of grippy high-volume Maxxis treads put the polish on this ace trail bike.
A very good trail hardtail.
