Description | The 2016 Schwalbe Marathon Supreme is a durable, high-end road tire. Excellent for cycle touring, low-maintenance commuters, or combination road/trail trips, this instance of the Marathon Supreme uses Schwalbe's ace OneStar compound, offering very low rolling resistance and excellent traction. Available in a range of sizes to fit just about any modern bicycle from 26" to 29er, with three fatter 700s, two of which are also offered in a tubeless version. | The 2016 Vittoria Open Pavé EVO CG III is a top-end rough road clincher tire. From the Corsa line, a line that has racked up more wins than any other in professional cycling history. The Pavé is offered in wider 25 or 27 sizes, its high thread count cotton casing supple and smooth-rolling over anything from poorly-maintained blacktop to cobblestones, offering high traction on the straights and through the corners. Vittoria's ISOGrip rubber compound provides excellent grip both wet and dry. | The 2016 Specialized Roubaix Road Tubeless is a high-end road tire. A long-life tire, the Roubaix is an excellent training or commuter tire, offering a smooth ride and resistance to punctures. Specialized's Gripton compound offers excellent traction in both wet and dry conditions, cornering with confidence and holding to the pavement under acceleration. This year's Roubaix runs comfortably under 115 psi, holding up nicely at as low as 90 psi under a 200-pound rider. |
