Continental Gatorskin

I own 6 bikes altogether and have gone through many tires over the years. For my two Road bikes and my Touring Bike I now only use these. 700 X 28 on my road bikes and on the touring bike I use 700 X 32. Never have let me down. My other bikes are a mountain bike and two Fat bikes.. As for road tires, I wouldn't think of using anything else.  Less

I have tried many tires including the Continental GP 4000 but being a commuter, I was always getting punctures and eventually the tire would get a big enough cut to make it unsafe. None of this with the Gator Skins, I have even managed to wear one out, Done 5,000 Km on it with only 1 or 2 punctures. Also they have great grip, I think the compound is as good as any racing tire.  Less
